Because of rising production costs, new and redeeming theatrical works have a harder time reaching the stage than ever before. That is why your contribution matters.
The path to a full production of The Further Shores of Knowing will require numerous steps, each of which relies on funding. For example, backer auditions are necessary to attract investors and producers, and such presentations require hiring actors, singers and musicians. That step is estimated to be at least $50,000 according to our general manager, Visceral Entertainment. Alongside this effort is raising the requisite ‘enhancement’ funds. In case you haven’t heard that word before, enhancements are a monetary inducement that will allow us to partner with a non-profit theater company to help offset their production costs. Here our funding goal is in the neighborhood of $350,000 for an enhanced production. In order to meet our goals, we are eligible to accept funds from early-stage supporters.
