A Powerful Visual Statement

Thank you Sheri Hayden, Executive Director of RACE Dance Collective, and photographer, Devin Ta, for giving us permission to use this striking photo from one of their performances. It captures the drama of the opening scene in The Further Shores of Knowing, when the chorus collapses in fear and panic upon realizing that Polaris, the earth’s guiding star, has gone dark. It’s also a compelling photo that we feel conveys the tenor of our times.
